Marsha Johnson, the owner, and her family began their journey 16 years ago, decorating cakes out of their kitchen. Driven by their passion for baking and a desire to create a lasting legacy, they made the leap to open a brick-and-mortar store seven years ago. In an effort to give back, Sweet Creations partners with Lubbock Meals On Wheels to provide food for the elderly. Additionally, they actively participate in various events, including the Girl Scouts and Meals On Wheels Mardi Gras festivities, spreading joy through their delectable creations.

Marsha also shared that running a small business is undoubtedly a roller coaster, but says that without the Lubbock people, they would not be where they are today. 

“Thank you to everyone that has supported us in our business for the past seven years,” Marsha said. “There are a lot of people who can do what we do, but if you choose us we’re going to go the extra mile and make sure your occasion is special. You are important to us and we will make sure you know that.”
