THE FUTURE OF FOOTBALL STARTS HERE

Home » Jones AT&T Stadium Gets a Bold New Look

Jones AT&T Stadium is now a dramatically transformed venue, following the completion of a monumental $240 million renovation project, making it the single-largest investment in Texas Tech football history. This comprehensive development includes the newly unveiled South End Zone and the Dustin R. Womble Football Center, both officially open as of early 2025, just in time for gameday in Raiderland.

TTU South End Zone

The South End Zone is one of a kind, offering four floors of excellence. The first floor is complete with both the home and visiting teams’ locker rooms on the field level, accompanied by a 7,200 square foot club space fostering fan-to-player relationships. On the second floor lies the main concourse, lodge boxes, and a walkable area of over 6,000 square feet for team strategy planning. This is all connected to a skybridge linking to position-specific meeting rooms. The third floor is also connected by the skybridge linking coaches’ offices to the Womble Football Center and the Sports Performance Center. The end zone wouldn’t be complete without the company of dedicated fans, so the fourth floor is dedicated to upgraded fan experiences with premium suite options. Overall, the end zone is over 300,000 square feet of top-of-the-line player development facilities and fan favorite amenities suited for the perfect gameday experience.

Dustin R. Womble Football Center

Introducing the new Dustin R. Womble Football Center, this new facility is a sight to see. Dedicated to Dustin R. Womble for his contributions to Texas Tech University, the facility ensures that players have everything they need to succeed on and off the field. Built where the previous Football Training Facility was located, this new structure is home to football strength and conditioning, sports medicine, and equipment facilities. However, some of the facility’s main attractions include the Scovell Family Locker Room, a 15,000 square foot weight room, a hydrotherapy training room, a recovery suite with cryotherapy, cold plunges, sensory deprivation beds, and even an “Uncommon Man” barber shop. Needless to say, players have everything they need to look and feel their best. Other features include a two-story players’ lounge equipped with a podcast studio, a spa, an alumni lounge with a patio, and a walkthrough room showing off a 70-foot LED screen. This screen is the largest of its kind nationwide. The training facility is packed with high-end technology that will leave players, fans, and alumni in awe of what’s coming for Texas Tech football. The future is bright for game days in Lubbock.

What Fans Can Look Forward To

With the stadium upgrades complete, this football season delivers the full game day experience. Fans can now expect ultra-fast, dependable cell service from AT&T that’s hard to find in large environments. The partnership with AT&T continues to enhance these capabilities with an ongoing commitment to connectivity during the game. Fans can also sit back and experience game day performances with programmable LED lighting that supports choreographed light shows. This new enhancement is sure to keep you entertained. Throughout the stadium, fans will notice modernized entrances, premium end-zone seating, upgraded concourses, plentiful digital signage, deluxe suites, and hospitality boxes that define the contemporary game day experience. Last but definitely not least, fans can enjoy the picture-perfect game day with three new large video displays, five ribbon boards, and a redesigned Double T scoreboard to show our opponents just how proud we are to be Red Raiders.

Texas Tech Athletics leaves no room to question their dedication to the success of their players, the experiences of dedicated alumni, and the ultimate fan-based gameday that continues to bring the heat in the Hub City.
