Texas Tech University

Texas Tech University offers a plethora of undergraduate specialized tracks designed for the pre-medical track. These include Pre-Medicine, Pre-Pharmacy, Pre-Physician Assistant, Pre-Physical Therapy Pre-Clinical Laboratory Sciences, Pre-Dental, Pre-Nursing, Pre-Optometry, Pre-Occupational, Therapy, Pre-Speech, Language & Hearing Sciences. Lubbock Christian University

Home to over 2,000 students, this private university offers young training professionals in the medical field an opportunity to earn their RN-BS as well as a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. South Plains College
South Plains College (SPC), located in Levelland, Texas, is the region’s community college and houses premier certification and associate degree programs in healthcare, including emergency medical services, physical therapist assistant, radiologic assistant, respiratory care, surgical tech, associate nursing and vocational nursing. Recently, Skywriter M.D., a medical scribing company moved into downtown Lubbock. Covenant Health

Covenant Hospital, a member of St. Joseph’s Health System, is the largest healthcare institution in the region with 1,326 licensed beds, more than 5,000 employees and a medical staff of more than 600 physicians at its cornerstone facilities.

Grace Clinic is a multi-specialty, comprehensive-care clinic providing a broad range of healthcare choices and is an affiliate of the Covenant Health System. 

Lubbock Heart and Surgical Hospital

Lubbock Heart and Surgical Hospital is a 74-bed licensed facility, which includes 16 cardiac coronary care beds. All patient rooms are private and equipped with the latest technology to meet the special needs of cardiovascular patients. Lubbock Heart Hospital provides a specially designed and equipped emergency department aimed at the treatment of cardiovascular emergencies.
