Join the Silent Wings Museum as we commemorate the 80th Anniversary of the Normandy Invasion. D-Day reminds us to reflect on the service and sacrifice of the Glider Pilots who flew unarmed gliders into landing zones deep into enemy territory as troops stormed the beaches of Normandy. We honor the men who flew these missions and the men they carried into the combat zones on that fateful day.

View vintage aircraft and listen to the words of Glider Pilots as they played their role in this historic event. Dive into the unique story of the CG-4A glider and the men who flew them into combat.
