New Facilities and Expansions Projected to Create 174 Jobs and Over $67 Million in Capital Investment
Businesses across a wide range of industries and sizes, from nationwide operations to family-owned companies, continue to choose Lubbock as their place to grow. Terracon Engineering Consultants, Paramount Hardware and Supply, Redemption Aero, Ambrose, and Seals Commercial Holdings, LLC are helping drive community and economic growth by providing career opportunities for citizens and graduates in Lubbock through their business expansion projects in West Texas.
Altogether, these businesses are projected to bring Lubbock tens of millions of dollars in new capital investment to the tax rolls and 174 new jobs, with a combined annual payroll of $11 million.
Terracon Engineering Consultants, an employee-owned engineering consulting firm, is expanding its presence in Lubbock with a $6 million capital investment and the creation of 75 new jobs. The development represents continued growth in Lubbock’s professional and technical services sector, bringing new employment opportunities and investment to the community.

Paramount Hardware and Supply is a locally owned construction supply company serving residential and commercial customers throughout the region. As the company continues to grow, Paramount is expanding Lubbock operations to strengthen its distribution capabilities and better serve customers across West Texas. The expansion will include $3.8 million in investments to the company’s facilities, along with the creation of 15 jobs, to support increased capacity and position Paramount Hardware and Supply for continued long-term growth in the region.
Redemption Aero is developing a new aviation Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) operation in Lubbock and is currently undergoing the FAA Part 145 certification process. Once certified, the facility will provide services including inspection, maintenance, repair and return-to-service for commercial aircraft components and parts. Redemption Aero is investing an estimated $3.65 million to retrofit an existing facility, helping expand specialized aviation maintenance capabilities and support the commercial aviation supply chain in the region. The company plans to create 54 new primary jobs, with employees projected to earn $62.8 million over the next 10 years.
Ambrose is an Indianapolis-based developer representing a U.S. automotive parts distributor looking to establish a new distribution facility in the Lubbock Business Park. Overall, this project is expected to bring a total investment of $14 million and 30 new jobs to Lubbock.
Due to a limited number of large industrial buildings in Lubbock, local developer Seals Commercial Holdings, LLC is investing $40 million to build a 350,000-square-foot cross-dock speculative facility for traditional manufacturing and distribution operations. The addition will provide a turnkey facility that offers companies a streamlined way to establish operations, creating an opportunity for investment in our community and workforce expansion.

The new facilities and expansions are projected to create a combined 174 Jobs and over $67 million in capital investment.
