Market Lubbock Economic Corporation was created in 1995 with the approval of the City Council of Lubbock for the purpose of promoting, assisting and enhancing economic development in the City. The legislation under which Market Lubbock, Inc. was incorporated provides Lubbock with broader opportunities to attract new job-producing investments.
