LEDA has received local, regional, statewide and national recognition for the team’s implementation of innovative programs, partnerships and marketing strategies. These awards include:

National Awards

• 2014 – Gold Excellence in Economic Development Awards for Annual Report and General Purpose Print Promotion and Silver Excellence in Economic Development Awards for Print Ad Campaign and General Purpose Print Promotion from the International Economic Development Council

• 2013 – W.O. Lawton Business Leadership Award from the National Association of Workforce Boards

• 2013 –  Honorable Mention for Best Use of Video from Business Facilities Magazine‘s Economic Development Awards

• 2013 – Gold Excellence in Economic Development Award for Annual Report and Silver Excellence in Economic Development Award for General Purpose Brochure from the International Economic Development Council

State Awards

• 2016 – Workforce Excellence Award from the Texas Economic Development Council (TEDC)

• 2013 – David Evans Top Gun Award – Given for dedication and service to promoting economic growth in the region

• 2013 – High Ground Hall of Fame – Given to LEDA for all that they have contributed to the High Ground and the region

2012 – Workforce Excellence Award from the Texas Economic Development Council (TEDC)

• 2011- Community Economic Development Award from TEDC
